Action and Object Classification Techniques in Digital Images

Granada, June 12-17, 2006

Welcome to the website for the AERFAI Summer School 2006 (AERFAISS-06) organized by the Spanish Association for Pattern Recognition (AERFAI) in collaboration with the Visual Information Processing research group of the University of Granada. The focus of this Summer School is to study the most relevant approaches to Action and Object Classification Techniques in Digital Images.

This event is open to any researcher or PhD-student who is interested in learning or refreshing their knowledge about the most successful approaches in the fields of object & human-action detection/categorization and recognition.

The Summer School is organized as a one-week intensive course. Leading experts in the field shall present each tutorial which shall be followed by a practice session with specific software so that participants can gain a better understanding of the theory.
